NOTICE FROM DR. MILLER: HAZARDOUS WEATHER (posted May 21, 2013)
After reviewing the most recent hazardous weather outlook from the National Weather Service for North Texas, it appears that the next several days will be relatively calm with a slight chance of thunderstorms returning Wednesday evening and Thursday evening into Friday morning. While we anticipate a “normal” school day tomorrow, if weather patterns change substantially, we will notify employees and parents of any changes through our web pages, email systems, and notices to the media.
School Back in Session Monday for All CISD Students School will be in session for all Cleburne ISD students on Monday, May 20 at regular start times and locations.
Regular bus service will be provided at the normal bus stops and times.
Please remind your child to be very careful if they are walking to school because there may be debris or other hazards along the route.
If you are driving your child to school, please leave earlier than usual because traffic may be congested due to the same conditions.
SEVERE WEATHER NOTIFICATION Information Regarding Delayed Openings, School Cancellations Due to Inclement Weather Decisions regarding delayed openings or the cancellation of school due to inclement weather are made no later than 6 a.m. on the day in question. The information will be posted on the district's website, released through Skyward Family Access and provided to area news outlets.
Parents, Please send a copy of a current utility bill showing your address. If the bill is in someone else's name, please send their bill and a letter signed by them stating that you live there. This can be sent in your student's folder to the teacher the first week of school.
