REGISTERING NOW FOR

         SUMMER CLASSES! 

         

 

The classroom phase of this certified Driver Education program is for high school students who meet TEA and CHS guidelines for attendance.  At the time of registration you must bring an original birth certificate and social security card. Maximum class size is 36 students.

 

Sign up early, this class fills up fast!
 
Session I: June 11th - July 10th
Days:  Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays, 5:30pm-7:30pm

Instructor: Marchel

Location: Cleburne High School, Career Center #2

Cost: $175

  

Students must attend every class. If a class is missed, a make-up session must be attended.

Only 3 make up hours are included in the cost of registration.  A student needing more than 3 make up hours must first have instructor approval and must pay $25 per hour directly to instructor. If a student is placed in Phoenix DAEP, they will not be allowed to attend Driver Education.

 

  

DRIVING PHASE

The 14 hours of required in-car driving instruction are scheduled for groups of 2-3 students.  Students must be 15 years old, obtain a learners permit and pay the $175 driving fee before instruction can be scheduled.
Driving is scheduled on a first-come basis.

****Please consider driving with your student after they have obtained their learners permit. Students who have little or no driving experience prior to driving with our instructor are at a disadvantage and may not master all areas of driving without additional practice.
