Dr. Timothy Miller was named Superintendent of Cleburne schools on December 7, 2010 after serving four months as Interim Superintendent. Dr. Miller was hired by Cleburne in July of 2009 to serve as Assistant Superintendent of Educational Programs.
Dr. Miller graduated from WinstonChurchillHigh School in San Antonio and attended TrinityUniversity where he earned a Bachelors of Arts in Humanities in 1993 and a Masters of Arts in Teaching in 1994. Dr. Miller began his educational career in 1994 as an elementary special education teacher in San Antonio ISD. In 1996, he was hired to teach K-6 special education in Judson ISD and earned a Masters in School Administration from Trinity in 1998.
Dr. Miller was hired by North East ISD in 1998 and served as an Instructional Technology Coordinator for one year, Assistant Director for one year, and Director of Educational Technology for five years. After earning a Doctor in Education degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2006, Dr. Miller served as the principal of Eisenhower Middle School in North East ISD in 2007. Dr. Miller has also served as an adjunct professor for the University of the Incarnate Word and Concordia University.
