Students Will Not Have to Make Up Missed Instructional Days Due to Storms

Cleburne ISD has received confirmation from the Texas Education Agency that the May 16 and 17 instructional days missed due to storms will not have to be made up by students and staff. The last day of school will be June 6, with Cleburne High School graduation exercises scheduled June 7. More information is included in the Headline portion of this webpage.

NOTICE FROM DR. MILLER: HAZARDOUS WEATHER

After reviewing the most recent hazardous weather outlook from the National Weather Service for North Texas, it appears that the next several days will be relatively calm with a slight chance of thunderstorms returning Wednesday evening and Thursday evening into Friday morning. While we anticipate a “normal” school day tomorrow, if weather patterns change substantially, we will notify employees and parents of any changes through our web pages, email systems, and notices to the media.

School Back in Session at All CISD Campuses Including Gerard and Smith MS
School will be in session for all Cleburne ISD students on Monday, May 20 at regular start times and locations, including those attending Gerard Elementary and Smith Middle School, which are back in operation.

Regular bus service will be provided at the normal bus stops and times. Please remind your child to be very careful if they are walking to school because their may be debris or other hazards along the route.
If you are driving your child to school, please leave earlier than usual because traffic may be congested due to the same conditions.

School Cancellations Due to Inclement Weather
Decisions regarding delayed openings or the cancellation of school due to inclement weather are made no later than 6 a.m. on the day in question. The information will be posted on the district's website, released through Skyward Family Access and provided to area news outlets.
