Parents are asked to bring their student to the registration. Information necessary for registration includes a certified copy of your child's birth certificate, their Social Security card, proof of residence such as a utility bill and current immunization record. The parent will also be asked to present their driver's license or photo ID at the time of registration. To be eligible for kindergarten a student must be age 5 on or before September 1, 2018.
Registration for Pre-K requires the same information as listed above, along with proof of income, consisting of two current check stubs for everyone employed/receiving income residing in the household, if the student is seeking program qualification relating to economic guidelines. Pre-K students must be age 4 on or before September 1, 2018 and meet any of these state eligibility standards: federal free/reduced price lunch guidelines; unable to speak or comprehend English; currently or have been in foster care; homeless as defined by 42 U.S.C. Section 1143a; have a parent who is an active duty member of the U.S. armed forces or whose parent was injured or killed while serving on active duty as a member of the U.S. armed forces.
